Some guests only cross our bridge again when it is time to head home. That is possible, but it would be a pity.
Rêve is set in a region that does not reveal itself immediately, but invites you to discover it slowly, almost like a journey through time.
We are located on the border of two departments, the Aveyron and the Tarn, in the Tarn valley, at the heart of the regional natural park Les Grands Causses. An open landscape of deep valleys, limestone plateaus, forests and rivers — and above all, a strong sense of space and greenery.
From Rêve, it is easy to discover different faces of southern France. Looking for city life? Toulouse or Montpellier make ideal day trips. Prefer something more intimate? Charming provincial towns such as Albi and Millau are close by.
Culture lovers will find plenty to explore, from villages listed among Les Plus Beaux Villages de France to the many castles and historic sites scattered throughout the region.
In the mood for something more active?
The Aveyron lends itself perfectly to it.
Walking, cycling, water sports and horse riding are deeply embedded in the landscape.
From gentle walks and e-bike rides to trail running, gravel, mountain biking or horse riding,
there are options for every level and every discipline,
supported by an infrastructure that continues to be actively developed.
Whatever your interests, it is the unspoilt nature, its calm and simplicity, that everyone enjoys. The freedom to be outside, to move, to slow down.
Life in the Aveyron is largely lived on a local scale. In summer, you can browse brocante markets, but not only then. All year round, small village markets bring life to the area, and the seasons determine what is available and what ends up on the table. Cheese, honey, vegetables, meat and bread — often straight from the producer, without intermediaries. Staying here, you quickly feel how closely food and daily life are connected, even in the smallest villages.

Rêve is a place where children naturally find their place. Not through entertainment or organised programmes, but through space, nature and freedom.
Water plays an important role here: rivers to sit by, to play, to swim, to fish or to float small boats. Walking, too, is rarely a challenge. Many routes are playful and varied, with rocks, forests and open landscapes that keep curiosity alive.
In the surrounding area, there are outings designed with children in mind, such as castles where you do not only look, but also play, leaving room for imagination and a sense of wonder. The animals on the domain are part of everyday life as well. Not a petting zoo, but real life, observed up close.
For older children and teenagers, the region around Millau offers a wide range of outdoor adventures, from treetop courses to caving or paragliding.
On the domain itself, children can play freely, with respect for the peace and quiet of all guests. This makes Rêve a place where children can truly be themselves, and where adults sometimes rediscover that feeling too.
